My 2nd CD Is Finished:
It is a 10 song CD titled “Old Hickory”. I wrote this song “Old Hickory” in a dedication to my father, uncles, and all the old friends that used to hang out and camp with my brothers and me on old hickory.

“Old Hickory” is a true story and a real life experience for me as a teenager, these guys were very good at teaching us young boys how to hunt, cook, camp, and survive in the wild. What I wouldn’t give just to camp out on “Old Hickory” one more time. All the folks in this song are all still around except for my father that passed away when I was fourteen, I’ve always wanted to recognize these guys and say thanks in a way that they would really get a kick out of it. I thought about all those nights on Old Hickory listening to George Jones, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, Porter Wagner, and the one and only Hank Williams Sr. and that’s when I decided hey, if I can write a song about them and record it in Nashville, I believe this would really be saying thanks in a big way.
If you pay close attention to the directions in the song “Old Hickory”, it will take you there.
I’m still singing about the bayou, I have put a song together in reference to Four Mile Bayou and I have also asked my buddy, Leroy Gros, to fly up to Nashville with me to assist with the singing of this song. I really think everyone will like it, if you like having fun on the bayou, well this is the song.
Big Thanks:
I wanted to say thanks to all the folks that put my CD “Offshore Man” on the jukeboxes and thanks to all the radio stations for the airplay.
Thanks to everyone who listens to my music, and thanks for giving me enough confidence and the “want-to” to go back in KMA studio to record the next CD.
I would like to thank KMA Records for the invitation back to Tennessee, thanks for helping me get this new recording project up and running.
“Barn Crew”:
Y’all know who you are. Thank you for your support which really means a great deal to me.
Thank you so much for the support, and for showing me how to have a good time on the bayou. Thank you again!
